Move Ya Mind Instructor Certification for Educators and Clinicians

Instructor Certification course for educators, school staff, and clinicians. Expect to learn how to lead meditation, movement, and mindfulness practices for urban youth. Curriculum and certification are included in this 4-hour professional development workshop.

Curls on the Move Instructor Certification

Hair is a sociocultural barrier to physical activity among many brown and black adolescent girls. Created by girls, for girls, Curls on the Move is an after-school club which teaches and empowers girls to care for their hair, themselves, and how to lay a foundation for a lifetime of healthy habits. Educators, clinicians, school staff receive training, curriculum, and an instructor certification after the 4-hour course so they can bring this club to their school, youth group, or community center.

Curls on the Move is also aligned with national health education standards and can be used as a unit in health education class and physical education class.
